VENUE HISTORY

550 Trackside was built as a Cotton Warehouse in 1904. While under construction, it was a talk of the town because Mr. Mauldin was constructing the building out of granite from Stone Mountain. The towns people questioned if a building made of such material would ever last. Over the years, it has been known as The Langley General Store, The Mercantile Exchange, A Feed and Seed Co., the Grinder and the Goldkist Building.

Our venue opened in 2008 and was created specifically for special events. The high ceilings of 100-year-old rough -hewn wood, archways, chandeliers, furnishings, and attention to detail, captures and maintains its turn of the century authenticity and charm.
